STREAM
St. Andrew is proud to be a STREAM certified school in the state of Florida and holds the distinction of being the first pilot STREAM school in the Diocese of Venice.
SACS has been STREAM certified since 2019 through the Florida Council of Catholic Bishops (FCC) and the National Council for Private Education.
What is STREAM?
STREAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Math.
STREAM is an expansion of the STEM educational concept, integrating Religion and Art across all “disciplines” or subject areas. Therefore, providing students with the creative thinking skills necessary to communicate and advance STEM/STREAM in the real world.
As Catholic schools, our mission is to educate the whole child and STREAM provides a framework to “Build Faith, Hearts and Minds.”
